Here in Hertfordshire, we are very proud of our reputation as the street party capital of the UK.So when I read in the 7 June issue of The MJ that Bristol City Council, with its 92 approved street parties, had the largest number of road closure applications outside London, I felt compelled to set the record straight for our sociable residents.
