Rebranding's on the cards for Public Works Loan Board

Sources claim the Public Works Loan Board (PWLB) is set to be relaunched as figures show the number of applications is falling. A senior source told The MJ the PWLB could be rebranded soon, as it also faces competition from the Local Government Association's new municipal bonds agency. According to the latest set of accounts for the PWLB, which were published on 2 July, the number of agreed applications fell from 311 in 2012/13 to 218 in 2013/14.
