Six-week funding deadline for Robin Hood project

Nottinghamshire CC has given a contractor until the end of March to confirm funding is in place for a proposed £13m Robin Hood attraction. The local authority selected Discovery Attractions as its preferred bidder in October 2012 for the visitor centre in Sherwood Forest. Nottinghamshire's service director for youth, families and cultural services, Derek Higton, said they have given the company a deadline of 31 March to confirm a funding package.
