摘要

Centre of Excellence for Information Sharing On 3rd March the Government issued its response to the failings to protect children from sexual exploitation in Rotherham, which were the subject of reports by Alexis Jay and Louise Casey. The response highlighted information sharing as the key to prevent further failings nationally and the Government has issued a call to action to local places to eradicate negative cultures that limit information sharing when working in a multi-agency environment. The Centre of Excellence for Information Sharing supports this call to action and we are pleased that challenging cultural differences has been identified as the crux of the issue. This is the focus of our work and I wanted to highlight to you and your readers the support available from the Centre to help local places in fostering more supportive cultures to enable better information sharing.
