Rotherham in bid to be ' child-centred' borough

Rotherham MBC has announced plans to become a 'child-centred borough' two years on from the Jay Review into child sexual exploitation in the district. The council has admitted that 'much improvement' is still required for supporting looked-after children. Proposals to be considered next week will also include a new deal to measure the behaviour and experiences of local young people against data from Sheffield City Council and Leeds City Council.
