Only 15% of councils plan to outsource in next two years

Councils are looking at new ways of providing services as outsourcing slumps, a think-tank has found. Just 15% of authorities plan to increase levels of outsourcing in the next two years while four out of 10 said they planned to outsource less, the NLGN think-tank found in a survey of local government leaders, chief executives and mayors.
