Ofsted highlights Bradford's 'deteriorating' children's services

Children in need of help in Bradford are at ‘risk of significant harm' due to serious failures in council services, an Ofsted report has found.Inspectors found Bradford City Council's children's services to be inadequate, adding they had 'rapidly deteriorated' since the previous inspection in April 2017.The report said many childrenwere not getting the help they need at the right time, and the council often failed to recognise the impact of ongoing neglect or domestic abuse on vulnerable children.Bradford insisted it had already acted to address the problems raised in the inspection.
