10-year deal to build waste acceptance site at Barnstaple

Devon CC has signed a £60m, 10-year public private partnership contract with Suez Recycling and Recovery.The contract, which has a potential five-year extension, involves the construction of anew waste acceptance facitity near Barnstaple and the treatment of 45,000 tonnes per year of residual waste at the Sevemside Energy Recovery Centre near Bristol.
