Grant us the funding we need

Municipal authorities were reported as breathing a collective sigh of relief when the provisional settlement was announced with no further transition relief. A slight misrepresentation of our position, no authority would begrudge a neighbour the funding it needs to deliver services. But when authorities as a whole have suffered a decade of cuts we do feel there could be little justification for devoting scarce funding to maintain an out of date status quo.
