Concerns surrounding over-lapping local enterprise part-nerships (LEP) 'shouldn't be seen as a problem', the leader of Surrey CC has told The MJ.The problem is particularly acute in Surrey, where the En-terprise M3 LEP overlaps the north of the county, and the Coast-to-Capital LEP passes through from West Sussex.Both these LEPs have al-ready been signed off by Whitehall, but a pan-Surrey LEP, called Surrey Connects, is still planned.Issues have also occurred in Lancashire, where there is currently conflict between a Pan-Lancashire and a Pennine Lancashire LEP.
