Sector 'struggling' to recruit and keep staff

Public sector organisations are facing increasing difficulties in recruiting and retaining staff, with the sector's image having a negative impact, according to an annual employment survey.Published on 20 June, the annual Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)/Hays survey polled more than 500 employers and found 38% of public sector respondents reported difficulties filling managerial and specialist posts.
