Public health grants for local authorities will remain ring-fenced for a third year running, it has been revealed. The chief executive of Public Health England, Duncan Sel-bie, made the announcement in his weekly message to local authority chief executives. 'I have also been glad to confirm on my travels that the public health ring-fence grant is to remain in place for at least a third year,' Mr Sel-bie writes.
