The companies at the top of the surface-to-air missile market are located in the United States, Europe and Russia. The leading suppliers of surface-to-air missiles in the world are Raytheon and MBDA. Raytheon's product line includes the Patriot and Standard Missile families. MBDA is offering a line of air defense systems using the ASTER missile. Russia is attempting to expand its share of the air defense market, but its success has been mixed. Moscow's customer base remains comprised of former clients of Soviet weaponry.
