I had heard rumours about a Mini Marcos that had been imported decades ago and never built, and it turned out to belong to David Saville Peck, Vancouver's Caterham/ Lotus Seven dealer, a top man with whom I get on well. He smokes lots of cigarettes and tyres, and his current ambition is to set the world record for doing doughnuts with a front wheel stationary.
