Founded by Brian and Heather Harper in 1967 at their home in Lancashire, Mini Sport initially traded via advertisements in the back of Motoring News. In 1969 the growing business moved to new premises in Padiham in the mid 1970s where it remains to this day. With Brian and Heather's sons, Chris, Daniel and Jonathan, now in charge, Mini Sport is a thriving modern business, specialising in the precision engineering of quality mechanical parts for Classic and New Minis. Other services include mechanical conversions for engine and gearbox, motorsport preparation, accessories and innovative automotive mechanical technology of all types.
