On a visit to see my son in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, I was fortunate to be invited to see the lovely collection of 20 or so classic Minis owned by Shirley and Philip Blahak. They both belong to the Arizona Mini Owners who hold many events during the year in which their Minis regularly take part. The oldest Mini is the Woody which was Shirley's first Mini and is much treasured. For me the most attractive was the Royal Mail Van. This is a great attraction at shows, especially when Philip wears his genuine postman's outfit. Thank you very much to Shirley and Philip of AMO for making us so welcome, it really was a very interesting visit.
