At home the building work continues apace. The dreaded pillar in the garage has gone and the structural beams are in position. Thankfully the house has not fallen down so far. In a few weeks I shall be able to start putting things back and re-organise the garage. Meanwhile CRX is at Southam Mini & Metro Centre for a work-over as the Rallye Monte Carlo Historique 2014 draws ever closer. The plan was to give the car a service and check-over, do a complete brake refurbishment (shoes, pads, change the fluid etc), then we planned to lift the cylinder head and give the valve seats a refresh. It was just as well we did, because it led to the discovery of a little engine problem.
