Going under cover

It has, to be honest, been a very quiet month on the Mini-ing front. Having tentatively used Winnie through the wet, muddy, salt-strewn months as my only functioning transport, and risked chilblains changing cylinder heads, clutch cylinders and water pumps outdoors in a freezing car park, 1 managed to secure some much-needed (and long sought-for) indoor workshop space just as the worst of winter was behind us and I had ticked the last item off my 'to do' list on the Mini. Then I finally retrieved my Citroen 2CV from my parents' driveway (where it had been controversially living since I picked up Winnie last September) so had that as a go-to car - it may be one of the few cars more prone to rusting than a Mini but it's easier to repair and much less historically valuable than a largely original 1960 Austin Seven!
