The 19th Goodwood Revival took place at the historic circuit near Chichester, 9-11 September. The atmosphere was, predictably, brilliant with showgoers dressed in outfits from the 40s, 50s and 60s. The best way to describe it is like entering a time warp. You can rub shouiders with motorsport celebrities like Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jackie Stewart, David Coulthard and Jason Plato: This year's theme was 1966: The Road To Wembley', in celebration of the 50th anniversary of England winning the football World Cup. Goodwood organisers may have forgotten to mark 'UAffaire 1966' when Mini Cooper S achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Monte and were unconscionably disqualified. Every year there is a tribute track parade and for 2016 it was in honour of the late Sir Jack Brabham, won the F1 Driver's Championship in a Works Cooper Climax in both 1959 and 1960.
