Prices For OCC, Other Grades Drop Drastically

Prices for Old Corrugated Containers (OCC) have dropped drastically, along with a majority of other paper grades, report RM sources. "Prices for OCX are very sloppy right now. Domestic mills are full and export orders are limited," said one scrap recycler based on the East Coast. "Mills seem to be pretty full on material and China had slowed down their buying, forcing tons inland from the shore," noted another scrap recycler based in the Southeast.
