Demand for single-stream recycling and meeting the needs for collecting those recyclables appears to be growing. Rumpke Re ycling recently upgraded its Columbus, Ohio, MRF with new struc tural enhancements and installed new sorting and baling equipment to meet the needs of separating more fiber from single-stream recyclables. The facility serves as a regional processing facility for recyclables from throughout Ohio, including Rumpke facilities in Chillicothe, Circleville, Ironton, Mansfield and Mt. Vernon. Rumpke's recyclable materials come from commercial recycling programs, drop box and curbside recycling programs in Columbus, Bexley, Dublin, Reynolds-burg and Pickerington, Ohio.
