Creamery's new local cheese wows consumers

The new Lake District Cheese from the Lake District Creamery in Aspatria, Cumbria, was proving to be a roaring success in the county within weeks of its official launch. Released at the end of last year, more than 400 outlets around the county are already stocking the range of cheeses, which is made using only local milk and carry the images of local farmers on the packaging. Jeff Halliwell, managing director of the company, is delighted with the success to date.
