It was 2008 -the year that saw the Climate Change Act and the launch of the Milk Roadmap.Two years before, the FAO's 'Livestock's Long Shadow' had cast a dark cloud across the livestock industry and the pressure to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions had never been greater. The finger was pointing at livestock and Allen felt it acutely.
