Dairy UK has launched Action for Growth, a 12-point plan for partnership between Government and industry to deliver ongoing growth and success in the dairy sector.Dairy UK Director General Jim Begg commented: "Dairy is a thriving business sector which plays an important role in the delivery of the national food supply. Government estimates put the value of annual turnover in the dairy sector at £8.1 billion and milk, cheese, yogurt and other dairy foods sell more than any other category in multiple retailers.
