Roll-Out of the First M-346 Trainer for Singapore: At the Alenia Aermacchi facilities of Venegono, Italy, the first of 12 M-346 advanced trainers ordered by Singapore in 2010 made its roll-out. The ceremony was attended by top ranking officers of the Singapore and Italian Air Forces, representatives from the prime contractor ST Aerospace, and top managers from Boeing and Alenia Aermacchi. Previously, the first aircraft for Singapore gained the flight certification and made its maiden flight on 11 July. The deliveries are due to start towards the end of 2012.
