In an interview with MILITARY TECHNOLOGY, US Army Chief of HQDA Electronic Warfare Division, Col. Jim Ekvall discussed the development of the Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool (EWPMT) and Multi Function Electronic Warfare systems that the US DoD is pursuing. EWPMT is part of the Integrated Electronic Warfare System (IEWS), which will extend electronic warfare (EW) capability to the individual soldier and will an integral part of future soldier programmes.
