What Could Poland's New President Bring?

In August 2015, Andrzej Duda became the new president of Poland. He replaces Bronislaw Komorowski, who surprisingly failed to be re-elected. Duda, a PhD, lawyer, and Member of the European Parliament, was the candidate for the right-wing PiS (Law and Justice) party, which is considered pro-American and EU-sceptical. PiS has criticised the former president and his party, the ruling PO (Civic Platform), for a soft foreign and security policy, including their compliance with Russia and Germany.
