Reflections on Reorganisation of the Turkish Armed Forces Following 15 July 2016

In the wake of the falled coup attempt, unprecedented changes are being implemented in the organizational structure of the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF). The government has initiated a revolutionary 'civilianisation' process to bring the military under civilian control and to eliminate any possible further coup attempt.
