Omissions and errors in fact are corrected when possible, but every effort is made to present the interviewee's own words.Amoretta M. "Amie" Hoeber was President of MORS from 1981 to 1982. In 1981, Ms. Hoeber was appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Research and Development), followed by an appointment as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Research, Development, and Acquisition), and finally as Deputy Under Secretary of the Army, where she remained until 1986. This interview was conducted by Dr. Robert Sheldon in Potomac Maryland, on 14 February 2004.
