Dr. Darryl K. Ahner is a member of the Board of MORS, an assistant professor in the Department of Operational Sciences at the Air Force Institute of Technology, and the Director, Scientific Test and Analysis Techniques in Test & Evaluation Center of Excellence (OSD STAT T&E COE). He served 22 years in the US Army. Dr. Ahner is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York where he earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering (aerospace) and subsequently earned master of science degrees in both applied mathematics and operations research and statistics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York, and a doctorate of philosophy in systems engineering from Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts. His research interests include advancements in approximate dynamic programming, optimization of stochastic models, and mathematical modeling of complex systems.
