They come to MOAA with various interests and experiences, and together they make the association strong. Read on to learn more about your fellow MOAA members. Lt. Col. Morris Courtright, USAF-Ret. (life member since 1982): Courtright retired from the U.S. Air Force as a major after a career that included work in the manned spacecraft program. He later rejoined the U.S. Civil Air Patrol (CAP), in which he had participated as a youth, and was promoted to lieutenant colonel. In 2006, at age 76, he was ordained as an Independent Catholic priest and is now director of chaplains for the CAP'S Arizona Wing.
