TEK Micro introduces FPGA- based VITA 41 VXS single- board computer products

TEK Microsystems Inc. in Chelmsford, Mass., is introducing two VITA 41 VXS single-board computer products-the Orion-V5 and the Triton-V5. Both computer board products take advantage of 4 GHz DAC devices. These ANSI/VITA 41 (VME/VXS) compliant 6U high-speed digitizerrnboards combine high-density field-programmable gate array (FPGA) processing for wide-band signal generation. The Orion-V5 VXS has two 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) channels, each operating as fast as 3 gigasamples per second (gsps), with one 10-bit, 2.2 gspsrnanalog-to-digital converter (ADC) channel with one 12-bit, 3.0 gsps DAC channel.
