Survey of developments in the theory of continuous skewed distributions

摘要

In this paper we trace developments in the theory of skewed continuous distributions (univariate and multivariate) which commenced in the late 19th century and —after some dormant period during the most of the 20th century— were invigorated in the middle 80's of the 20th century and has become in the last 20 years an area of rapid advances.
