Development of dynamic pressure generator using new rotating valve system

Recently, the demand for precise measurement of dynamic pressure has been increasing in a wide range of applications. In order to establish a standard for dynamic pressure measurement, techniques for generating precise dynamic pressure and for measuring the generated dynamic pressure with high accuracy are needed. Togenerate precise dynamic pressure, we have developed a new generator using a rotating valve. Although some dynamic pressure generators with a rotating valve have been reported, the structure of the newly developed rotating valve described in this paper is different from conventional ones.
