Pioneer Metal Finishing, a top provider of wear- and corrosion-resistant coatings and cosmetic finishes for a variety of end-use markets, has acquired n South Bend, Ind.-based Nimet Industries, recognized for its unique Nituff®, NiCoTef® and Anografics® products and processes. The acquisition, which marks Pioneer's seventh location, will be known initially as a division of Pioneer. Nimet's processes-Type II and III anodizing, electroless nickel, conversion coatings and precision masking-will be available across Pioneer's other facilities.
