The company is currently collaborating with a major American aerospace giant facing stringent environmental regulations pertaining to solvents. The specific challenge entailed working with the aerospace company in the preparation of precision components of dissimilar metals that cannot tolerate exposure to water. The company turned to Layton after the Santa Barbara Air Pollution Control District, SBAPCD, (Rule 231 for solvent degreasing) imposed stricter levels of compliance for solvent emissions.
