Simulataneous determination of Indium (In (III)) and Cadmium (CD(II) ions was inves- tigated by differential pulse polarography in the presence of starch in 0.10 M potassium chloride (KCL) medium. Starch absorbs on the dropping mercury electrode in the poten- tial range of -0.0V through-1.80V vs. SCE (saturated calomel electrode). In the presence of starch the peak potential of In (III) shifts toward negative side while that of Cd (II) remains unchanged. The relationship between the peak current of In (III) and the Concentration is linear. Similar relationship holds for Cd (II). These suggest that the Simultaneous determination of In (III) and Cd(II) is possible.
