The 49th edition of this valuable summary on "Information on Man-made Fibres" by the European Man-made Fibres Association CIRFS, Brussels/Belgium, provides all available information about the global man-made fibers industry.The CIRFS report shows continued growth of the world's man-made fibers industry while cotton and wool both decrease in 2012. It confirms the strength of global production of man-made fibers, and their dominant share in world demand for fibers. In 2012, MMF represented 68% of all textile fibers produced worldwide, this percentage going up to 82 % in Europe.
