Towards abolition: a special issue from the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War

摘要

The editorial board of Medicine, Conflict & Survival (MCS) met during the World Congress of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW) organized by the UK affiliate Medact in York, UK in 2017. During that meeting, it was decided to invite IPPNW affiliates to write commentary pieces about their activities and strategies leading up to the Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. The responses to that invitation make up issue 34.4 of MCS. They are in no way representative of all affiliates of IPPNW, and we welcome and look forward to future contributions.
