摘要

Getting to Zero is two first-hand accounts from a doctor and an ambassador who were working in Freetown, Sierra Leone, when the Ebola crisis began. It could be described with a lot of superlatives, with words like shocking and powerful and heart-breaking. It is all of those things, but any first-hand account of the Ebola crisis probably would be all of those things. But it is a lot more than this, and a lot more than simply a first-hand account of the West African Ebola virus epidemic, for two reasons.
