Birko, Henderson, Colo., announced that Dr. Elis Owens (pic-tured right) is a guest on the AME Food Testing Show. Owens, Birko's senior microbiologist and chemist, discusses "Sanitation 101" with the show's host, Andy Moreno of AME Certified Laboratories. In the interview, Owens provides an overview of sanitation in the food-processing environment. In other Birko news, Ray Millers has joined Birko as director of business development, further processing. Millers will be based in Birko's headquarters.
