McDonald's Corp.'s successes in the area of sustainability and corporate stewardship might not have the profile of the company's hamburgers and Happy Meals, but the former vice president of sustainability at McDonald's, Bob Langert, has first-hand knowledge of what it takes for a multinational company to harmonize its responsibility to both shareholders and society.
