ESTIMATING DIAPHRAGM FLOW COEFFICIENTS FOR NONSTATIONARY GAS FLOW

摘要

A diaphragm is the most common flowmetering device on major pipelines, on which one often encounters flow-rate pulsations, which destabilize measurements. An experimental check on numerical calculations shows that the metrological characteristics of an orifice meter in unsteady flow can be determined by numerical simulation from full-scale experiments.
