Precalculus Explorations of Function Composition with a Graphing Calculator

In a 1993 Mathematics Teacher article, Will Hansen described a geometric visualization of iterative function composition and used it, with the aid of a graphing calculator, in student-centered explorations of convergence. Near the end of the article, he hinted at composing two different functions— an idea that has been successfully employed in investigations of composition functions in general (Lum 1993).
