摘要

A novel tunable F-P linear filter used in optical fiber communication is reported in this paper. The filter consists of two fiber planes relative to the incident fiber and the outgoing optical fibers, and two fiber ends are, respectively, coated with reflective optical thin film. The F-P interferometric cavity improves the transmittance response characteristics of traditional F-P cavity and helps to improve the linearity and linear range. The optical thin film interference matrix analysis method on the transmission of the filter response is calculated and analyzed. The analyzed results show that the new linear filter has the advantages of good linearity, wide linear range and linear interval adjustable.
