Long welded seam in heat exchanger tube sheet

We need to fabricate a j tube sheet (2.25-m diameter with a thick-ness of 53 mm and A516 G.r 60 material) for a heat exchanger with a design pressure of 47 kg/cm~2 at the shell side and 5.5 kg/cm~2 at the tube side with a maximum design working temperature of 323℃. As we cannot get such large-diameter plate of 53 mm thickness locally, we would like to weld two plates to fabricate the tube sheet. Is a long welded seam across the diameter of the tube sheet permitted? The tube hole will pass through the weld metal. Nondestructive testing and stress relieving for the welded joint will be carried out.
