Synthesis of olivine-type Co_1.6SiO_4 at low temperature

摘要

Olivine-type Co_1.6SiO_4 was synthesized by firing a precursor at 950 deg. C for 12 h. The precursor was obtained by the hydrothermal reaction of CoCl_2·6H_2O with Na_2SiO_3·9H_2O at 150-200 deg. C for 12 h. The ell constant of Co_1.6SiO_4 was independent of the synthetic condition of the precursor. The specific surface area of Co_1.6SiO_4 was 3-4 m~2/g.
