摘要

The carbide precipitation and chromium distribution in low-energy coincidence site lattice (CSL) segment induced by twinning at random boundary were investigated in thermomechanical-processed (TMPed) SUS 304 stainless steel. The non-carbide precipitation and small chromium depletion in low-energy CSL segment increased the sensitization corrosion resistance and interrupted the penetration of intergranular corrosion (IGC) along random grain boundaries from the surface.
