摘要

Transparent optical crystals of pure and Mn(Ⅱ), 10 mol% doped ADP crystals were grown by slow evaporation solution growth technique. The grown crystals were characterised by different experimental techniques. The presence of Mn(Ⅱ) in the doped specimens was confirmed by energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. In the single crystal XRD studies, the dopants have not altered the lattice parameter values and the crystal system of pure ADP. The surface morphology of the crystals was studied by scanning electron microscopy. The grown crystals were also characterized by FTIR and TG/DTA methods. The SHG efficiency, which is an essential character required for the single crystals to identify the NLO property, is performed by Kurtz Powder Technique.
