摘要

Li_(1.1)V_(0.9)O_2(R3m) with a layered structure has been synthesized by a solid-state reaction of Li_2CO_3 and V_2O_3. The microstructure and morphology of the Li_(1.1)V_(0.9)O_2 are characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The electrochemical reversibility of Li_(1.1)V_(0.9)O_2 electrode is examined at various charged and discharged states by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). The considerable improvement of the electrochemical performance of Li_(1.1)V_(0.9)O_2 electrode is observed by changing the discharge cut-off potential from 1.0 to2.0V vs.Li/Li~+.
